Coaching

Discover, Choose, Advance

Coaching is a process of personal growth through which I accompany you on the path towards achieving a goal. Through a reflective and conscious accompaniment, I support you to find clarity, make decisions aligned with yourself and move forward with determination towards what you really want to achieve. Although coaching is a modern discipline, its roots are as old as philosophy itself: Socrates already used questions to guide his disciples in discovering their own answers. Similarly, Taoism invites us to live in harmony with our inner nature. In humanistic coaching, the approach is the same: through dialogue and deep reflection, we explore together what you really want and how to move towards it.

Seneca

"There is no favorable wind for those who do not know where they are going."

Sometimes, we come to a coaching process without being entirely clear about what we want or even why we are there. Other times, the goal is clear, but finding the way to reach it is not so simple. In any of these cases, humanistic coaching can help you find direction and clarity, discover what is really important to you and move forward accordingly.

My approach is based on the humanistic vision of Maslow and Rogers, understanding coaching as a space for personal exploration and training. It is not about bringing out your "best version", nor teaching you how to do things. Nor is it about imposing external goals or following prefabricated recipes. It is about accompanying you in the process of clarifying what you really want and walking towards it in a conscious and aligned way.

Sometimes, the hardest thing is not to move forward, but to know in which direction.

How is it different from psychology?

The main difference is purpose. In coaching we work with a concrete goal, a place we want to get to. It is a process more focused on action and advancement.

In psychology, on the other hand, the work is deeper and slower. It is not so much about reaching a specific goal, but to explore in greater depth internal aspects that may be influencing your life.

If you have doubts about which process is more appropriate for you, you can visit the psychotherapy section or ask me directly.
